As part of their environmental and facilities management support role for the NHS Direct Estates, OR Consulting acted as building services consultants for the design of the fit-out works for the new headquarters facility in Leman Street.

OR Consulting provided a comprehensive consultancy service to the Client from acquisition to completion, including:

• The production of a property acquisition report, reviewing the condition of the existing M&E services.
• The creation of a Licence to Alter document, summarising the impact of NHS Direct’s proposals on landlord’s areas / systems.
• Detailing the scope of the remedial works required to the landlord’s systems.
• The production of fit-out design proposals, configured to reflect the landlord’s constraints.
• Working with the Design Team and Contractor to overcome installation and programme issues.
• Witnessing the commissioning and testing of the fit-out installations.
