OR Consulting were appointed to provide MEP design services for the replacement of the boiler plant serving the Sports Centre at Brentwood School. The Sports Centre houses multi-purpose sports halls, a gymnasium, 2No swimming pools, changing facilities and a café.

The sports centre was originally served by 2No existing atmospheric boilers. These boilers were replaced by 6No SEEDBUK class A condensing boilers to improve part load performance, improve resilience and reduce the carbon emissions of the heating plant by
over 20%.

The boiler replacement was designed and phased to maintain the sports centre operational throughout the boiler replacement works.
